Lathyrus odoratus 'Blue Shift' is an exceptional and enchanting sweet pea that is unlike any other variety. It first blooms with purple-pink petals and then changes to a beautiful turquoise-blue colour. It continues to change colour when cut and placed in a vase. Blooms profusely with strongly scented flowers well into autumn. Created by Dr Keith Hammeth.

This variety comes from our own farm in Australia where all the seeds are picked by hand. It's a laborious and time-consuming process, making each seed precious. We have an extremely limited stock as the weather and freight affect the price of these varieties. Take care of them! Keep them in an airtight bag in the freezer until it is time to sow them. They will last for many years if kept cold.
