- CARE GUIDE
The modern shrub rose ‘Lady of Shalott’ from British rose breeder David Austin features beautifully cupped, loosely double blooms. The petals display shifting shades of orange and apricot with hints of salmon pink and golden yellow. The buds are darker in colour, and the fragrance is strong and spicy with notes of apple and clove. It has a bushy growth habit with gracefully arching branches and healthy green foliage. The young leaves have an attractive bronze tint. A robust and resilient rose that flowers abundantly and continuously. It was named after one of Lord Alfred Tennyson’s poems to celebrate the 200th anniversary of his birth. Perfect for mixed plantings and large containers, and also excellent as a cut flower.
