Lathyrus tingitanus ’Roseus’

Tangier Pea ‘Roseus’ is related to the common sweet pea. ‘Roseus’ blooms abundantly throughout summer, producing unscented coral-pink blooms on vigorous climbing plants that quickly cover an arch or trellis. The colourful flowers are excellent as cut flowers and last well in a vase.

Growth habit: Height approx. 200–250 cm
Germination time: 7–28 days

Place the seeds in a glass of water overnight before sawing. Sow in pots indoors in February-Mars. Use deep pots. Keep the soil moist. Pinch out the plant over three leaves to get a vigorous bushier plant with more stems. Protect against frost when planting outdoors. Plant in rich compost and feed them extra during the summer.
