Xerochrysum bracteatum 'Salmon rose'
Strawflower ‘Salmon Rose’ produces classic everlasting blooms with glossy flower heads in unusual shades of pink and apricot. The stems are tall and strong, with dark green foliage. An excellent cut flower and perfect for drying, as the blooms retain their colour and last almost forever.

Sow indoors in March–April. Use moist soil and cover the seeds with a very thin layer of soil, as light helps germination. Use a clear lid with air holes. After germination, place the seedlings in a bright, cool position. Keep the soil moist until the plants are established. Harden off the seedlings and plant out once the risk of frost has passed. Can also be sown directly outdoors in May–June.
