Czech Glass Ornaments

Inspired by both the showstoppers and the quiet observers of the garden, this collection by Christian Ravnbak celebrates the beauty found in unexpected forms, a coneflower, grape cluster, seed pod, butterfly, spider, grasshopper, and watering can.

Each piece is handmade in Poniklá, Czech Republic, using a nifty method of tiny glass bead blowing, silvering, coloring, and cutting before being threaded by hand. The result is a shimmery ornament of rare craftsmanship, part of a tradition now recognized by UNESCO for its cultural heritage.

Designed in Sweden, these glass decorations reflect Christian’s curiosity about the garden objects that often go unnoticed. Perfect for the Christmas tree, yet so exquisitely made they feel magical all year round.
