Winter Pot Cover 'Frost' sand

Winter Pot Cover ‘Frost’ is an insulating winter cover for potted plants that need extra protection during the coldest months of the year. When plants overwinter in pots, their roots are particularly vulnerable to cold and frost, as they do not benefit from the same natural insulation as plants growing in the ground.

The padded, sand-coloured, wind- and water-repellent material provides an insulating layer around the pot, helping to protect sensitive roots from cold, wind and moisture. The extra-thick insulated base also provides effective protection against cold from below. Velcro fastenings and a drawstring make it easy to adjust the cover to fit the pot.

During winter, place the pot in a sheltered position, preferably under a roof and close to a house wall. Dormant plants generally require less water, so avoid allowing the soil to remain wet for extended periods.

After the winter season, the cover can easily be folded away and stored until next year. Available in two sizes to suit different pots and plants.

Tip! The drawstring may be slightly stiff to tighten. Tighten it gradually while distributing the fabric along the drawstring, allowing the material to gather evenly around the opening.
