A classic bulb plant you can never have too many of. Spring crocus blooms in March–April and is perfect for flower beds, under shrubs, or in the lawn. The flowers are loved by bees and bumblebees, making them an important early spring food source.

Crocuses should be planted in groups of at least 10. Planting depth: 5–10 cm, with the same spacing between bulbs. After a few years, they may need to be thinned out—best done in July–August. Crocuses come in many colors: white, purple, speckled, and yellow.
