Italian Tulip 'Peppermint stick'

Tulip 'Peppermint Stick' (Tulipa clusiana 'Peppermint Stick') reaches a height of 20–35 cm. This charming tulip features a slender, graceful bloom with candy-cane stripes on the outside and a white interior. The flower floats on a thin stem and sways gently in the wind. A perennial tulip that returns year after year.

The bulbs are fairly small and should be planted 10 cm deep and 10 cm apart in a sunny location with well-drained soil. 'Peppermint Stick' pairs beautifully with a carpet of silver-leaved plants like snow-in-summer or lamb’s ear.
