Daffodil 'Polar Hunter', Narcissus 'Polar Hunter' is an intriguing daffodil that flowers early in spring, often in April. Its olive-green buds open to reveal white petals with a subtle green shimmer that gradually fades into creamy white. One of the most beautiful daffodils we have grown, with a strong, sweet fragrance reminiscent of jasmine and honey.

'Polar Hunter' reaches about 30–35 cm in height and has its origin in the rare green species Narcissus viridiflorus, which grows wild in the Cádiz region of Spain and in North Africa.

Height: approx. 30–35 cm
Flowering: April
Planting depth: 15–20 cm in moisture-retentive soil, about 12–15 cm between bulbs
Bulb size: ?

Contains 5 bulbs.

Daffodils should be planted early in the fall, in well-drained and slightly moist soil, about 15 cm deep. When the foliage emerges in spring, sprinkle some of Zetas bulb fertilizer for extra nutrients. They tolerate poor and wet soil better than other bulbs. If they stop blooming, dig up and divide the bulbs, replanting them more sparsely and deeper. Daffodils are deer and hare resistant! They thrive in full sun but bloom longer in shade.
