Tropaeolum minus 'Troika Velvet'
Velvet Troika’ is a pretty dwarf nasturtium with rusty red flowers in a sea of vanilla variegated leaves. Perfect for a hanging basket, in a beautiful pot on the balcony or in a flowerborder directly in the garden. The leaves and flowers are edible and will spice up any lovely summer salad.

Sow direct where they are to flower in May-June.
Keep soil moist until seedlings are established. For earlier flowers, sow
indoors in April. Use moist sowing soil and transparent cover with air
holes. Place bright and cool after germination. Harden and plant out
when the risk of frost is over. Do not fertilize much, that will give more
leaves and less flowers.
